Latest News Away following does Ossie proud Sunday, Mar 05, 2006 Chelsea’s 3,000 supporters who followed the team to West Brom’s stadium on Saturday lunchtime organised their own visual tribute to the memory of Peter Osgood. During the minute’s silence before kick-off, held jointly for the Chelsea legend and a West Brom employee, Scott Poll, who had died during the week, the away section held high posters of Osgood’s FA Cup Final equalising goal. With the posters spreading across the entire support, it made an impressive sight. Before that, during the game and continuing on after the final whistle, there were many renditions of the traditional ‘King of Stamford Bridge’ song.
