Holistic Wellness Quran Brings Mind, Body & Soul Together

WHOLE QURAN. WHOLE CHILD Whole Quran, Whole Child concept is a self-empowerment program. The purpose of this program is to get the students to think about the responsibility they have as individuals towards their wellbeing as a God-given trust. Whole Quran, Whole Child makes the students explore the various options they have in being productive citizens. The Islamic view on the matters of self-evaluation are widely expressed in the Quran and Sunnah. Whole Quran, Whole Child aims toward teaching our children a balanced lifestyle.

The Universal Concepts While working on each project, we ask kindly to clearly discuss, and display (during presentation)the questions below: Wow (Wonder) Have your students own the project by being inspired by your overall vision of the year. Grade Presentations The presentations will take place during the week of Feb.1, Each grade will be presenting in the multi- purpose room or masjid. Selected students will be ready to share with other their learning experience in about minutes. A schedule will be arranged for each grade level presentation. Each grade level needs to have an attractive and interactive display. Some of the suggestions are:

Media Presentation Ms. Khan and a group of eighth grade students will be putting together a media presentation showing the process of each project. Ms. Khan will explain the process. A sign up sheet will be provided for the appropriate class time filming. The edited work will be presented as a school-wide activity.
