Caerse- to fall (down)

Dañar- to damage; to break down

Darse con- to bump into; to run into

Doler (o:ue)- to hurt

Enfermarse- to get sick

Estar enfermo/a- to be sick

Estornudar- to sneeze

Lastimarse (el pie)- to injure (one’s foot)

Olvidar- to forget

Poner una inyeccion- to give an injection

Prohibir- to prohibit

Recetar- to prescribe

Romper- to break

Romperse (la pierna)- to break (one’s leg)

A veces- sometimes Example: I sometimes go to the movies. Yo voy al cine a veces.

Ademas(de)- furthermore; besides Example: Furthermore, it was fun and we also went hiking. Ademas de que era divertido, tambien fuimos de caminata y excursion.

Apenas- hardly; scarcely Example: There is hardly any people on this beach. Apenas hay personas en ésta playa.

Así- like this; so Example: We drive a car like this. Manejamos el carro así.

Bastante- enough; rather Example: I had enough of the ice cream. Yo comí bastante nieve.

Casi- Almost Example: I almost got an A+ on this test. Yo casí agarré una A+ en este examen.

Con frecuencia-frequently Example: I frequently go to Disneyland. Yo voy a disnelandia frecuentemente.

De niño/a: As a child Example: As a child, I loved going to the beach. De niño me gustaba ir a la playa.

De vez en cuando- from time to time Example: From time to time, we go scuba diving. De vez en cuando nosotros vamos de buceo.

Despacio/lentamente- slowly Example: We watched the sunset slowly go down. Vimos el atardecer bajar despacio/lentamente.

Menos- less Example: I had less pizza than you. Yo comí menos pizza que tú.

Mientras- while Example: While we were at our grandparents house, we decided to go swimming. Mientras que estabamos en la casa de nuestros abuelos, decidimos ir a nadar.

Muchas veces- a lot; many times Example: We rode our bikes a lot on our vacation. Nosotros anduvimos en nuestra bicicleta muchas veces durante nuestras vacaciones.

Poco- a little bit Example: I like brocolli a little bit. Me gusta el brocoli un poco.

Por lo menos- at least Example: At least we got to go bowling for my birthday. Por lo menos fuimos al boliche en mi cumpleaños.

Pronto- soon Example: Soon we will go to England. Pronto vamos a ir a Inglaterra.

Rapido/rapidamente- quickly Example: We quickly go shopping. Nosotros vamos de compras rapidamente.

Todos los dias- every day Example: Everyday we do our homework. Todos los dias nosotros hacemos la tarea.
