Presentation transcript:

2 submitted tasks: 600 words minimum Each piece worth 30 marks Total 60 marks = 30% of GCSE Grade You may use your Mira text book to help you – You may use phrases and single sentences from your text book. You must NOT USE WHOLE PARAGRAPHS OR CONSECUTIVE SENTENCES FROM YOUR TEXT BOOK

Stage 2 Task is set: after this your teacher is not allowed to help you. 6 hours permitted to research and prepare the task. Use the mark scheme to help you work out where your work fits in (good/adequate etc)

Task Planning Form Max 40 words TOTAL You may use English on the form (eg for headings) but as this is the only help sheet you will have in the writing test, we advise you to use mainly Spanish. You may only use an INFINITIVE form of a verb. You can use structure reminders like Tener + que = to have to; these count towards the 40 words total

Things you can include… TASK PLANNING SHEET (really it’s a summary sheet) A mi madre le (gustar) ir a…. Key words to help you remember what you want to write You can take the planning sheet home

Your draft Your draft is a fully scripted version of what you will write in response to the task. You may only use a dictionary, your text book and the resources given to you, and your own knowledge. You MUST NOT USE A TRANSLATION TOOL or TRANSLATION SOFTWARE. (I will know!) You will not lose marks if you do not write about all the bullet points, but they are there to help you complete the task fully. You are allowed up to 6 hours preparation time

Writing it up You must complete your writing up in 60 minutes, 1 session. You may use your planning (Summary) sheet only, NO DRAFT ALLOWED. You may use a dictionary You must write up your final work in front of a supervising teacher, not at home or in a separate room. All normal exam conditions apply (phones, silence etc)
