Application process Four StepsFour Steps 1.Complete an application and return it to one of the trip advisors ASAP (see application due date on top of the application – October 22nd). 2.Wait for a confirmation from the trip advisors Friday evening October 26 th 3.Once your application is accepted, complete the online instructions to enroll and pay your non-refundable $95 fee (this will need to be completed by midnight, November 2 nd) 4.Attend all group meetings.

Selection Process Applications are available tonight Selection Criteria are as follows: 1)Completeness and professionalism of application 2)Strength of application answers 3) Teacher recommendations 4)Probability of success while abroad (This is a score that will be calculated from the previous criteria using our selection rubric)

Fundraisers? Group Fundraisers  We will help with TWO BIG events  Ideas/examples: –Krispy Kreme, Little Caesar’s Pizza, Cow Girl Chocolate fundraisers. –Carwash Individual Fundraisers  All additional fundraising will be done on your own or in groups of your choosing.  Ideas/examples (see EF website) –Odd Jobs for travel –Babysitting

Commonly Asked Questions Can adults/parents go?Can adults/parents go?  Yes, applications are available tonight. Can a younger or older sibling go?Can a younger or older sibling go?  The requirements dictate that this trip is for current 6 th to 8 th grade students only. Can a relative go on the trip?Can a relative go on the trip?  They must complete an adult application and/or meet the student age requirements (students would also need to fill out and return an application).
