Objectives To work closely with the school personnel in developing a School-based Curriculum which focus on: Textbook adaptation Teaching of reading through the five strategies Teaching writing through shared writing and process writing Using drama to enhance teaching and learning
Mode of Collaboration with Seed schools Teacher Secondment – one secondee per year, three LETs over three years Option of no Secondment – the school will spare a co-ordinator for taking up the adaptation task with flexible deployment during the week. Environment – storage for Big Books and Guided Readers and notice board for display of students’ work * Please refer to the Information Pack for full details regarding commitment!
Commitments for Joining School-based Curriculum Development Plan and develop a school-based curriculum Schedule timetabled co-planning meetings for at least an hour per week on a regular basis Allow teachers to attend CPD, cluster and school-based PD workshops
