Definitions and Details Web Parts – Server controls that execute at the server and display to the browser Zones – Areas of a web page that are containers for Web Parts Galleries – Collections of Web Parts that can be added to a web page –Web Part Page Gallery – Any Web Parts that have been closed –Site Name Gallery – List of all available Web Parts and Lists on the site –Virtual Server Gallery – Web Parts installed on the Virtual Server –Online Gallery – Default to the Microsoft web part gallery, but can be changed or turned off

Adding Web Parts Browse – The most common method by either drag and drop or select the zone and use the Add button. Search – Searches across galleries by keyword.
