Journey of Empowering Youth

Who We Are Vidya Poshak, India is a registered NGO serving education community from 2001 with the aim of supporting financially challenged bright students. Vidya Poshak has been adopting a holistic approach towards its vision.

Vision Empowering Educational Community through:  Nurture Merit Program  Integrated services including  Financial Assistance  Library Services  Skill Training thro - Residential Bridge Camps  Youth Centers & Libraries  Education Loan Awareness and Advocacy Program  Graduate Finishing School

What We Do Nurture Merit Program (NMP) Financial Assistance: Assistance in the form of college fees, examination fees and in some cases, additional assistance is provided towards tutorials and coaching for meritorious and needy students. Books: Text and career related books, computer facilities, career guidance, and training's are given to the students. Training through Residential Bridge Camps: 9 days of intensive (12 hrs. a day) training to enhance their education and career prospects.

NMP - Unique Identification Process - Volunteers visits students home. - One on one sponsor connection to student. - Programs led by volunteers. - Support extended till student achieves highest degree of academic excellence.

Graduate Finishing School An answer to Unemployment. Unique Features Experienced trainers with a record of 100% placement to students. In order to give maximum individual attention, the trainer – student ratio is 1:8 Training is for 3-months (10 hours a day) which aim to bring about significant changes in student’s skills, lifestyle and thinking. Computer-lab is accessible for 12 hours a day Hassle free loans to the students.

Education Loan Awareness & Advocacy Program Vidya Poshak is proud to launch the Education Loan Awareness and Advocacy Program. Vidya Poshak is conducting awareness campaigns in collaboration with banks and government officials to guide deserving students in getting education or vocational training loans. In 2012 Vidya Poshak has created awareness among students from 12 districts in getting education loans.

Impact so far In all 3360 graduates have settled through gain full employment in their life and brought their families out the clutches of economic backwardness. More than 1,00,000 Youth empowered with skill training through various program like GFS, RBC, ELAAP, C-Doss, ELIP. 1,80,000 students benefitted from Vidya Poshak’s library services through 5 Library branches and 30 Book banks. 12,500 students were supported and taken to the next level of literacy who otherwise would have discontinued their education after Class-10 INR 250 Million Rupees invested in Empowering Educational Community
