Mission Statement “Lake County Free Medical Center exists to provide access to medical health services for the underserved to improve the health of individuals, families, and our community. The focus of the center is to promote and advocate healthy living through prevention, treatment, and education.”

Philosophy The philosophy of the Lake County Free Medical Center reflects the vision and values of our caring staff. Every person deserves quality healthcare with a personal touch. Through our actions, we expect to demonstrate the following: Each patient and family is unique. Patients come from many different backgrounds and will be treated with respect without regard to lifestyle, age, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, and ability to pay. Patients can expect care that is individualized, compassionate, and culturally sensitive. Care provided to all, regardless of their ability to pay for services. The center will serve the uninsured, or underinsured at no cost. Care will be based on evidence-based practice, ethical principles, and provided by licensed staff that are up to date on all credentials. The center will be clean, and inviting. Patients and families can expect a warm friendly environment with, professional, caring, competent staff that are all excited to serve.

Goals & Objectives Obtain financial backing by way of government grants and public donations to ensure a solid financial base for the organization. To strive to maximize resources to ensure the best clinic operations. To seek grants and donations fundamental in maintaining a budget that fits our organizations needs. Provide patient services including treatment with a focus on wellness. To assess learning needs of patients and families in order to provide education materials they can understand at the first visit. To reduce risk factors for disease prevention, improve health and wellness in the community within the first year of opening. Promote healthy families and community through prevention, treatment, and education.

Goals & Objectives To increase community awareness about health and healthcare resources thus improving quality of life after opening the clinic. To provide appropriate prevention and treatment education at each visit. Recruit volunteers that are competent, caring, and excited to donate their skills and time. To ensure each patient is receiving the competent care that they deserve and are pleased with the caring service by the end of each visit To provide care from different disciplines enhancing quality of healthcare and eliminating expensive emergency room visits. Make current information available to all patients and their families about specific diseases and conditions and the affects that they may have on their health. To ensure patients will be able to identify risks factors and preventative measures for their individualized condition by their next visit. To increase each patients knowledge about their individuals conditions or disease by the end of their visit
