Project SOaR ™ Supporting STEM Education in all Southeastern States Emphasizing Title 1 Schools STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) September 1, 2015 Public/Marketing/Project SOaR STEM Education Title

Project SOaR ™ School/Student Opportunities and Rewards Connecting the classroom with real world jobs Reinforces the importance of STEM learning Motivates students towards advance technology career fields An alternative to student involvement in drugs and gangs 2

Project SOaR ™ Who are we? Celebrate Freedom Foundation, an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a 16-year success record of performance and producing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) driven education programs Our team focus is on STEM subjects in middle and high schools Project SOaR ™ was created and developed to connect the classroom with real-world global jobs and career fields to stimulate a sustainable global workforce for the future. 3

What is Project SOaR ™ ? SOaR ™ (School/Student Opportunities and Rewards) An aviation aerospace/automotive program to expand upon the knowledge of STEM and to connect the classroom with current and emerging global career opportunities Project SOaR ™ motivates students towards advanced technology career paths and their continuation of education beyond high school. SOaR ™ reinforces the importance of STEM courses in the classroom. SOaR ™ brings the high technology resources and subject matter experts to schools that include those deemed “underserved.” We come to your school, which avoids the cost of school buses and field trips. The program does not compete with classroom instructional time. 4

SOaR ™ STEM Education Outreach Program Why? America is losing its industrial manufacturing base in part to not producing sufficient numbers of a STEM literate workforce. SOaR ™ STEM Education Outreach Program can stimulate career choices and the development of critical skills needed in the workplace. Our youth and nation require a STEM literate workforce in order to maintain the U.S. technological advantage essential to our nation’s industry and, ultimately, America’s freedom. “This educational outreach program, focusing on science, technology, engineering, and math, has the potential to change the lives of young people – particularly at risk youth.” – Past President of Newberry College, Mitchell M. Zais, Ph.D. Brigadier General, U.S. Army (ret.) and former S.C. Superintendent of Education. 5

How Can You Participate? Over 3,500 high schools, located in all 50 states, are participating in the SOaR ™ Education Program. Schedule your SOaR ™ STEM visit now! A full day of STEM activities includes: The local transportation, set-up of STEM education displays at the school, an AH-1F Cobra helicopter for a full school day, subject matter experts, promotion with the media of the event and the recovery of the assets A limited number of SOaR ™ visits are available for the upcoming school year.
