P is For… Current Word: Passion Your Word: Passion Passions mean putting your heart into everything you do. Passion is contagious and it takes only one person to make passion spread like wild fire. Passion means giving my all for the betterment of my students. Passion means dedication to student success and impaction of lives.

I is For… Current Word: Immersion Your Word: Immersion Give it your all. Do not hold back. What do you have to lose? These are my thoughts with regards to immersion. If you are going to try something, do not short cut it. To dive in head first is a risk but it is a risk for something great to happen…or a complete failure that you can learn from!

R is For… Current Word: Rapport Your Word: Rapport This is what the first three days is about. Building relationships with your students. Why should they listen to you? What do you have to offer? Skies are the limit when you have comfortability, trust, and understanding between people.

A is For… Current Word: Ask and Analyze Your Word: Argh Matey In knowing this does not fit the pattern but Argh Matey is appropriate because, to me, it means beating to your own drum. Taking philosophies of teaching, leadership, etc. and applying them to fit your personal styles and flares in presentation, classroom decorations, and projects. Just like a pirate beats to their own drum.

T is For… Current Word: Transformation Your Word: Transformation This word is what I set my goals towards. Transforming students in any capacity, in any aspect of life is what I strive to achieve as an educator. What is powerful is when students recognize their transformation and they want to transform other people’s lives.

E is For… Current Word: Enthusiasm Your Word: Enthusiasm I would say authentic enthusiasm is what I want to give and receive. You can not expect to receive what you are not giving. I want to challenge students to meet and exceed my enthusiasm day in and day out.
