Cave Art Horses Lions Mammoths Bison Deer Ibexes Humans are rarely included and, if so, are drawn like stick figures.

Many animals are overlapped and painted over which shows MOVEMENT and RHYTHM

Ground pigments were used from natural resources, stones and dirt. They were mixed with water, saliva or animal fats to make paint. Some were blown directly on the wall through reeds or hollowed-out bones
