3 Dimensional Shapes By Ashley Doyle

Types of 3 Dimensional Shapes Sphere: A three dimensional solid that is completely round. Cylinder: A solid shape with one curved surface and two circular bases. Cone: A solid shape with a circular base and a curved surface that tapers to a point.

Types of 3-D Shapes (Continued) Pyramid: A solid shape with a polygon base and triangular faces that taper to a point or a vertex. Cube: A solid shape that has 6 square faces (all equal in size), 8 corners, and 12 edges.

What 3 dimensional object is completely round?? A cube A cylinder A pyramid A sphere

Wrong!!! Please go back and read through the two slides titled, “Types of 3 Dimensional Shapes” very carefully!

You’re Correct!! Great Job! You’re very smart!
