The impact of these technological advances on the business environment cannot be disputed. You may have selected your present employer, a past employer, or an organization that you would like to go to work for in the future as a model for this project. Evaluate how effectively the company manages technology and innovation. Your project should reflect the skills and knowledge that you will develop throughout this course and should address the following concepts: 6

Let’s take a look at the reading links and discuss the material for the last portion of your final project.

The history of high-tech has taught us that the adoption of new technology paradigms usually can be explained by the technology adoption life cycle. This model theorizes that the life cycle is initiated by early adopters of a technology; and that only later in the life cycle do laggards adopt the technology. Planning is future oriented, and an understanding of the technology adoption life cycle allows for managers to better forecast technological requirements and advances.
