Service Learning Caitlin Stitt M/W 1:00-1:50

Goodwill Last year, local Goodwill collectively provided employment and training services to more than 720,000 individuals. Goodwill stores sell donated items for low prices. The revenues fund job training and other services to prepare people for job success.

Goodwill At Goodwill, I helped straighten up the many racks of clothing –This included things like sorting the sizes and finding stray hangers

Goodwill The second time I volunteered at Goodwill, I helped in the Career Center. I helped alphabetize and file papers to help regain organization after Goodwill’s recent move.

Holly Hill Nursing Home… Is a nursing home located in Valdosta. Plans many activities for their residents to enjoy, but also needs volunteers to help out. Residents enjoy seeing new people since they have limited mobility.

Holly Hill Nursing Home At first I was hesitant to enter the nursing home, I thought that it would be too depressing. However, soon after we arrived and began meeting the residents, I became more comfortable and really enjoyed visiting with everyone.

Holly Hill Nursing Home Erin and ReKasa are just finishing up Mrs. Morgan’s manicure! She was so much fun, she was joking with us and talking about her favorite soap operas!
