Finding Your Sweet Spot

 Passion is more than an emotion  Passion + Purpose = Ministry  Passion can be either destructive or exponentially productive  Passion is essential

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. - Psalm 37:4

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” - Matthew 9:36-38

For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. – Philippians 2:13

 Follow the “passion” clues to find fulfilling ministry.  List times when you have felt “God’s passion.”  Focus on experiences that energized you.

You were designed with a sweet spot. Your peak performance comes from being in that zone, and it can apply to every part of your life.

 Developing your passion requires balance.

 What do you love to do?  What makes you forget to eat?  What does your mind wander to?  What excites you?  What is your dream?
