Democratic Governance CoPs What has been done so far? Local Governance and Decentralization Sub-regional action plans based on member surveys, website, workshop on accessing EU funds etc. Human Rights and Justice Works with a network of Ombudsman institutions in the region, website, upcoming training on human-rights-based approach to development programming. ICTD Focal points have started to work together. Public Administration Reform and Anti-Corruption A priority area for UNDP in the region. The work on setting up a PAR-AC CoP was initiated in late 2004 with a members’ survey.
What has been done so far? OTHERS HIV/AIDS – Has received much interest from COs, produced a how-to guide on building local partnerships to address HIV/AIDS Gender – An active group of focal points has been working together for over 2 years Energy and Environment – will start a CoP this year Public Private Partnerships Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Civic Engagement
