When you see the ‘Choices’ star you can choose which: Job sectors Qualifications Providers you like and save them in Career Tools (if you have registered)

In Year 10 and 11 you need to: Decide what education and training you will do at 16 and where you will do it. Be thinking about your choices at 18 Start thinking about a job area. Careerpilot will help you find out: More about what’s involved in jobs; What the choices are at 16 and 18; Lots more about each choice; Where you can study and learn in the future. What useful skills you have for work and study later.

What qualifications do I need for the jobs I am interested in? What should I choose to do at 16 and 18? Should I do an apprenticeship or a higher education course? What useful skills do I have that will be valuable in future study or work? Year 10 or 11 students will find it useful to look at… What are the different providers?

There is information on 20 job sectors

With detailed information about each one

Think about the experiences, skills and achievements you have and keep a record for the future
