3 How big can wolves grow? Gray wolves can grow up to 3 1\4 feet to 5 feet long. Gray wolves grow 2 to 2 3\4 feet tall. Maned wolves tail length is15 inches long. Maned wolves bodies are 3 1\2 feet long. Tasmanian wolves bodies length is 2 3\4 to 4 1\3. Tasmanian wolves tails can be 15 to 26 inches long.

4 How fast can wolves run? Wolves can run more than 30 miles an hour? They can run that fast because of their strong legs. They run that fast when they’re chasing pray.

5 How much teeth can wolves have? Wolves have forty-two teeth. Wolves have ten more teeth than humans do.

6 How many pups can wolves have? Maned wolves can have 1 to 5 pups. Gray wolves can have 3 to 10 pups. Tasmanian wolves can have can have 2 to 4 pups. Red wolves can have 2 to 8 pups.

7 Fun Facts! Most wolves live in cold places. Most wolves make their homes in forested areas. A few wolves live in warmer countries such as Mexico, Greece, Spain and India. A wolf can eat 13 pounds a meal. Pups stay in the den until their strong enough to explore outside. Wolves bare their teeth to scare enemies or other wolves away. Wolves once lived all over north America, Europe, and northern Asia. Now they only live in the far north. Young pups can’t eat large pieces of meat.
