What will everyone else do on 10/1?  Juniors will report to the auditorium at 7:25 am bell  9 th and 12 th graders will attend their1 st and 2 nd period classes, but many classes will be relocated and or/combined  500 wings of building will be closed off to all students during testing (will not open until 3 rd period)  All classes on 500, 1500, and 2500 halls will be relocated to either the media center or the 600 side of building  Teachers will tell you where to go  No bells during 1 st and 2 nd periods – “bells” will be on TV  3 rd and 4 th Period will be back to normal

ACT Plan Details  Sophomores will report to assigned rooms on 500, 1500, and 2500 halls by 7:25 am on Thursday, Oct 1  Signs with room locations will be posted in the Commons Area  Bring your own calculator – we will not have enough for all testers  Calculators will be given out first come, first serve in testing rooms the morning of the test  There are 4 subtests:  English (30 min)  Math (40 min)  Reading (20 min)  Science (25 min)

ACT Rules  Don’t be late  If teachers have begun reading instructions, students will not be permitted to enter room  There will be a makeup date (TBD)  Any student who refuses to test or causes a disturbance during testing will be suspended  If you must leave during a testing session to use the restroom, you will lose the time (no make up time is provided)  But the biggest rule of all………………

NO ELECTRONICS!!!!  No electronics (cell phones, iPods, etc.) permitted in room AT ALL  If any student is caught with an electronic device during testing, the student will be dismissed from the testing room, his/her score will be cancelled, and he/she will not be permitted to test on makeup day  Teachers are not permitted to collect them in the front of the room before testing – students must leave electronics at home or in locker
