FACES OF FAITH Areiac sharing item

60 children from eight different churches in the London Borough of Newham, representing 25 different nationalities. The films, ready to use in Religious Education lessons, last between one to seven minutes. Following a brief introductory film about the project you will find children sharing what they think and believe about the following topics:

 Who is God? Who is Jesus? What is God like?  What do Christians celebrate at Christmas?  What do Christians remember at Easter?  Why is the cross special to Christians?  How do Christians remember Jesus’ death?  Where do Christians believe they go when they die?  Why is your church a special place?  What difference does being a Christian make to you?  Why is the Bible your special book?  How does prayer work?  What is the best/hardest thing about being a Christian? Funded by Jerusalem Trust and Transform Newham, this resource reveals through the words of children themselves the many things Christians share amidst the diversity found within the Christian community in Newham.
