ShockWatch Impact & Tilt Products

ShockWatch Indicators for Packaging ShockWatch LabelShockWatch 2MAG 2000 A single-use device available in 5 sensitivities. Designed around proprietary a tube, the ShockWatch label has been the market leader for almost 40 years. A single-use, serialized indicator available in 7 sensitivities. This device can be armed in the field. A resettable, reusable indicator intended for large crates and shipments weighing over 500 pounds, MAG 2000 records the direction and angle of impact. A ShockWatch impact indicator is a highly-visible device that will activate when an impact level exceeds a predetermined level. Mounted on a packaging container, the device visually alerts everyone involved in the package handling process that additional care is required.

ShockWatch Indicators for Products The contents of a package will always experience less impact than the package because of the dampening characteristics of the packaging. Affixing an impact indicator directly on products allows you to more accurately determine if an impact was damaging to the product. TubesClipsShockWatch Flex A ShockWatch tube alone can be incorporated directly into a product’s design rather than adhered to the product for applications that require embedding. ShockWatch clips indicate if an impact has been experienced that could potentially result in product damage, misalignment, or the need for recalibration. Based on proven tube technology. ShockWatch Flex is an impact indicator that can easily be mounted to curved and irregular shaped products. Based on proven tube technology.

Tilt Indicators TiltWatch XTRTiltWatch Plus Turns red if the package it is affixed to is tilted past 80° or is completely up-ended. However, it remains unaffected by movement due to normal handling conditions. Provides 360° monitoring. It indicates the exact angle of tilt or whether complete overturn has occurred. ShockWatch tilt indicators detect and record unacceptable tilting on goods that must remain upright. When these indicators are used, the product cannot be tipped without indisputable evidence of mishandling.

ShockWatch Impact & Environmental Recorders ShockLog 298ShockLog 248 / 208g-View Monitor impact, vibration and internal temperature. Peak value (time slot) and summary journey profile data provided. Record the detailed impact curve of up to 870 events. Optional accessories or built-in features allow you to extend the measurement power. Monitor impact and internal temperature. Peak value (time slot) and summary journey profile data provided. With the ShockLog 248, record the detailed impact curve of up to 15 events. The ShockLog 208 records time-slots only. Record the dates and times at which the user- defined impact threshold limit is exceeded for up to 100 events per axis. ShockWatch recorders continually monitor shock, vibration and environmental conditions experienced by structures, facilities and equipment during transit, storage and operation.

Why use ShockWatch indicators and recorders? Reduces mishandling incurred during transportation or storage Provides indisputable evidence of mishandling Acts as a visual deterrent to improper handling Alerts recipient to inspect contents before acceptance Promotes chain of accountability for all product handling Confirms effectiveness of packaging Helps identify trouble spots in supply chain, from production to transportation and storage Helps increase quality of product from dock to dock

The ShockWatch Program When used in conjunction with companion labels, alert stickers, caution tape, posters, and communication tools, ShockWatch indicators become a highly effective damage reduction and prevention program. To aid in this communication effort, ShockWatch provides customized letters for your carriers and customers. These letters describe the ShockWatch program and detail the steps to follow in the event a shipment is received with an activated label. Posters are available for the sending and receiving docks. These posters are another reminder of the ShockWatch program details. Alert tape and ShockWatch companion labels are additional tools that increase the visibility of the handling requirements of your package.
