Presentation transcript:

Autumn We welcome the Harvest!

Gracious God, We gather to give you thanks and praise.

For the summer fun we have shared with loved ones,

And the new year we are about to begin.

We hold our memories close and our hearts and minds open to the future.

We pray for all our new students and teachers,

That they too will feel welcome and part of our Spiritan community.

We offer thanks for nature’s harvest, for the bounty it brings to our tables.

We ask your blessing on all our students, especially those who have received their Leaving Cert results, those who anxiously await their Junior Cert results and those on the cusp of their final year in school,

Grant us Lord, the ability to harvest.

Let us be open to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in our relationships and all our school activities.

We ask Our Lady to journey with us and in the spirit of our founders to hold us close to her heart,

Amen.
