What are the challenges/what it should be done to get more projects  -lack of chemical supply in the country  -lack of cooperation from other stack holder  -lack ownership from host institute  -most of the people expect payment for Avery activity related to project e.g : finance, purchase,… Recommendation and conclusion For researcher  -try to develop the proposal as early as possible  -Avoid waiting the deadline  - stick only to your area of interest For host institute/ The host institute has to motive the researcher by provide incentive

Conclusion and recommendation The ORIP activity done at Mekelle University is one of the most important activity which address the gap interms of grant writing and leadership skill for both students and faculties though the number of staffs and students benifted from such training are limited due to financial constraints hence the following points are recommended

The is a need to have sustainable training through ORIP which can benefit many faculties and students The training given to the one health practitioners should expand to these working in the filed of different sectors Having contact in each of the college is good for easy communication for responding of different research calls Female encouragement shouldn’t be left in paper, it should be practiced The gender office should work independently similar to other departments so that women will be encouraged in proposal writing and getting support from any of the institutions.
