Sets the stage to: Morning: Discuss the region’s capacity to launch its own high-priority barcoding projects Identify general opportunities, needs, obstacles Afternoon: Brainstorm topics for potential projects –Identify potential users/funders –Discuss potential impact –Prioritize Identify institutions/centers with greatest capacity to lead and participate
