Presentation transcript:

The Mitosis is also known as the cell division. This is made to repair dead cells and damages in your body, to grow and develop and to reproduct. This is a period of change where one cell cill create 2 in 6 steps. One cell will create an identical one.

What Happens? This is the period during the cell cycle of a cells growth and development. The cell changes and this is the step that takes the longest to finish.

What Happens? In this phase three main things happen: 1.The nucleus starts to disappear 2.DNA forms into Chromosomes 3.Spindle fibers start to form

What Happens? In this phase the chromosomes line up in a single fire at the middle of the cell. This phase is the phase that is the shortest of all.

What Happens? In this step the sister chromatids separate while the spindle fibers start to shorten to opposite sides of the cells. Then the cell starts to lengthen.

What Happens? In the Telophase the : 1.nuclear membrane starts to reform around the chromatids 2.The chromatids start to unwind 3.Spindle fibers start to disappear 4.Two identical nuclei form

What Happens? In this phase the cells cytoplasm divides and the cell membrane squeezes into the middle of the cell to separate the two new daughter cells.
