Step # 1 Research Instructions: 1.- Open the following dictionary link and investigate the meaning of the following words. Write all your answers on a lined sheet of paper. 1.- Asia: 2.- Gastronomy: 3.- Cuisine: Access the following link and watch the documentary about India´s Culture and Cuisine. INDIAN CUISINE

Step # 1 Research Instructions: 3.- Answer the following questions about indian cuisine: 1.- Which herbs and spices make indian cuisine unique? 2.- Who introduced the use of chili powder into India´s cuisine? 3.- India is known around the world for producing and consuming 2 famous drinks, mention them. 4.- Why do indians drink so much tea? Did you know? India's religious diversity influences its cuisine. Beef and pork aren't typically used in Indian food because cows are sacred in the Hindu religion and pork is forbidden in the Muslim religion. Fish dishes are common in coastal regions like Bengal and Kerala. Poultry and lamb are commonly consumed in mountainous areas and the plains.
