Ben Carson Gifted hands By: Noelia Zavaleta Core 4 10/22/08

chapter 3-4 early life and teenage life. Ben Carson lost his dad at a early age he found out that he was living a double life with another wife and kids. His mom told him that his dad wasn’t going to live their with them any more. Ben Carson didn’t want his dad to go but he had to let go. Ben Carson tried to kill his friends cause of anger and he got in trouble. Ben Carson been dreaming of being a doctor sense he was eight. Ben has been reading a lot of psychology. Ben had no way to control his anger and temper he did a lot of bad stuff when he was angry he almost killed his friends because of his anger. Ben Carson graduated from high school. He graduated with a degree in psychology in 1973, then graduated from medical school at the University of Michigan in 1977.

chapter 4-5 Ben had to study a lot because he was getting bad grades and his mom forced him to study a lot. His classmates used to make fun of him cause of grades. But he never stoped trying cause his mom helped and gave him lots of advice.

Chapter 6-7 Bens grades started to get better he kept on trying so hard. He got in the ROTC. His mom made him read a lot almost like 1 or 2 books to read each night with a book reported he studied a lot.

Chapter 8-9 Sense Ben started high school he wanted to get new clothes and asked his mom to buy him new clothes. While he was trying to be like everyone else he brought his grades down but nobody liked him so he decided to keep working hard. Ben Carson started to do surgery but nobody wanted to get surgery with him cause he was black, people always asked for dr. long

Chapter Dr. long couldn’t get all the people to get surgery so he told the people to go to Ben Carson or no surgery, people stared to go to Ben Carson thanks to Dr. long. Ben Carson gave good surgery people started to liked him.

Chapter 12 Ben Carson stared medical school he went to Yale university to start medical school. He went to university of Michigan to get his doctors degree In university of Michigan he wasn’t the smartest guy there a lot smarter people than him.
