An egg shell is very fragile !

How can I prevent an egg shell breaking during a 5 meter fall??????

If I leave no empty space inside my package, then my egg will survive!

Key Plastic bag outside inside newspaper Plastic box egg

plastic bag Egg Newspaper Plastic box

Make an observation Ask a question Write a hypothesis Do the experiment Analyse results Write a conclusion Communicate results

First gather materials Then wrincle all your newspaper Stuff some of the newspaper into the sodes of the bag Fill in the plastic boxwith newspaper and put the egg in the midle Make shure to fill every empty space and then you´re ready to drop!!!

Trial 1 Trial 2 Egg survived but needs more softening Package worked perfectly

My hypothesis was proven correct because my egg survived the drop. The results indicate that my hypothesis was correct. There were no sources of error that I was aware of. Because of this experiment I learned that the simpler packages work best, for example I compared results with a friend and her package had a parashute and her egg broke so simpler things work best. If I were to do this experiment again I would stuff in more newspaper so that the egg is more protected.

Thank you for watching!!!
