Class Placement: Students were placed in classes according to 4 th grade EOG scores All classes are on grade level Some classes are faster paced than others All classes cover the NCSCOS Groups are flexible and fluid: students can be moved Movement will occur based on teacher observation, class performance, class participation, and formal and informal scores Before a child is moved, parents will be notified

Student Birthdays: Due to switching classes, birthdays will be celebrated in homeroom at 8:00am if you are sending a store- bought snack from home. If you purchase birthday items from the cafeteria, then the birthday will be celebrated with your student’s math/science class in the cafeteria during lunch.
