IR-4 Project IR-4 = Interregional Research Project No. 4 The IR-4 Project has been the major resource for supplying pest management tools for specialty crop growers by developing research data to support new EPA tolerances and labeled product uses. Established in 1963 by USDA Minor use crops-Fewer than 3000,000 acres College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences
