Crime prevention there is a thief about lets keep him out!!!! A slide show made by the JPCSO’s

What is crime prevention? By crime prevention we mean that you need to make sure that there are no windows open, shed doors open, bikes freely on show or anything that can be taken easily. And keeping our homes, bikes and cars safe

How to keep houses safe. When you leave the house make sure that there are no valuable items in the window. If you have something new don’t leave the box outside your house because people will know that you have something new and might steel it If you can make sure that you all windows are shut and that no ladders are leading up to an open window Don’t leave garage doors open

How to keep cars safe. Don’t leave car boots open Always set the car alarm Don’t leave precious objects in sight Lock windows when you leave the car.

How to keep bikes safe Use a padlock and chain when leaving the bike. Keep the bike out of sight at home. Put your post code on the frame in case it gets lost Keep a description of the bike.

How you can tell the adult about the issue Most of the things mentioned in the slides above are not your responsibility BUT you can tell the adult POLITELY (clue in the capitals) about the problem

Thank you for watching our slide show
