Questions What is responsible for the change in types of materials with a high circulation rate between now and say, fifty years ago? Have the patrons’ interests changed? How do you anticipate this issue might progress as technology encompasses more and more facets of patron’s informational needs? What might libraries do to cope with this progression? The GTWTW plan did not have a huge impact on children’s literature- why is that do you think? What do you think of the concept of reader development? Is it realistic for libraries to hope to engage readers in this way?
