LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR Lesson 5

THE ROYAL LAW James 2:8 If you fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself, you do well.

But if you have respect to persons, you commit sin and are convinced of the law as transgressors. James 2:9

WHO IS MY NEIGHBOR? Young – abandoned and abused children Old – nursing and convalescent home residents Handicapped – mentally and physically Convicted prisoners and families

HOW CAN I SHOW LOVE TO MY NEIGHBOR?

HELP HIM WHEN HE IS IN NEED If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, depart in peace, be warmed and filled; not withstanding you give them not those things which are needful to the body; what does it profit. James 2:15-16

THE GOOD SAMARITAN LUKE 10:30-37

BRING YOUR NEIGHBOR TO CHRIST And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. Luke 14:23

Feed them Visit them when they are sick or in prison Minister to them physically and spiritually Treat all people equally

BE KIND And be ye kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32
