3 SLA Exception Request ERCOT requests a 36-hour Release window be granted for October (Saturday noon through Sunday midnight), and again for the same period on October These two windows are necessary to complete the migration (and verification) of Production systems as part of the Data Center Migration Project There are no Release windows outlined in the SLA for 2011 due to Nodal Stabilization –Currently there are only Sunday maintenance windows, which are insufficient for the volume of activities with the Data Center Migration TDTWGOctober 2011
4 Retail SLA Release Windows (sect and 2.2.2) –Added: Upon implementation of TXSET 4.0, the 4 th weekend release window will be modified to comply with business day protocols, and the SLA will be updated to reflect these changes. 5 Browser Standard Timeline ERCOT currently supports Internet Explorer 6 and 7 browsers Other browsers are mostly, if not fully, compatible though not supported by ERCOT IT staff (Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc) ERCOT is planning to have all market facing applications compatible with Microsoft browser IE8 (Internet Explorer v8) by April 1, 2012 The IE8 browser is compatible with the latest version of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7) and contains improved security features. Prior to April 1 st, 2012 ERCOT will publish a list of recommended IE8 browser configuration settings ERCOT’s support for IE8 will allow Market Participants to upgrade their browsers anytime after the effective date –Any Market Participant that has a problem with IE8 after April 1, 2012, can report the issue to Client Services or to ERCOT’s Helpdesk –ERCOT will continue to support Microsoft IE7 until mid No action is required from Market Participants at this time.
