Wales in 2012 March 2012 Wales had the lowest household availability of superfast broadband services (34%) across the UK nations. However, 20% of homes in Wales were mobile-only, five percentage points higher than the UK average of 15%. reports/cmr12/wales/ Wales also has the lowest level of coverage of the nations from all 3G operators, at little over half (52.4%)

Wales in % of 16-24s say they use the internet - compared to 25% of those aged % of 16-24s say they go online [via their mobile phones], compared to just 3% of those aged Wales has the highest adoption of e-readers in the UK. Just over one in ten (13%) adults in Wales had an e-reader in the first quarter on 2012, greater than the UK average of 10% reports/cmr12/wales/
