Image Enhancement 1.Prepare a long range marketing plan 2.Communicate the Western Advantage to existing and new audiences 3.Market Western as an institution that sets the standard for excellence in student development and community leadership.

Brand Development To accomplish these goals our team applied for and received a SPIF grant to create an enhanced brand for Western.To accomplish these goals our team applied for and received a SPIF grant to create an enhanced brand for Western. –Hired Callahan Creek to work with us. –The process will be complete at the end of November.

Goal 1: Prepare a long range marketing plan Establish an institutional committeeEstablish an institutional committee –17 members who have worked to create a draft marketing plan and guide the process for brand development Establish an annual budgetEstablish an annual budget –Callahan Creek will be providing guidance on this, and we will have a proposed budget in the next year.

Goal 2: Communicate the Western Advantage Identify target audiencesIdentify target audiences –Conducted research with several of the groups and will continue doing so this year.
