3. Interpret body language Describe Clark's body language when he runs onto the football field. What emotion(s) does this kind of body language represent? How can you tell? confidence - straight posture, puffs his chest out, swagger, jumping around as if pumped

4. Interpret emotion In the barn with his father, Clark goes through many emotions. What are they and give an example of how you knew each one. Clark - determined but doubtful - straight face, no expression, stone faced, but then he gulps dad - frustrated - frowns, furrows brow, rolls his eyes, sighs

5. Analyze character Despite their argument, it is clear that Clark loves and respects his father. How is that meaning conveyed in this scene? Clark's dad puts his hand on Clark's shoulder Clark's dad gets up, walks off, looks back at Clark, disappointment
