RESEO European Network for Opera, Music and Dance Education

What is RESEO? RESEO created in 1996 is a European network gathering professionals from 25 countries and 90 organisations working to further opera, music and dance education.

Our vision Arts and culture are valued as essential elements of European cultural life. Equal access to artistic creativity and creative learning through opera, music and dance education are essential elements in thriving and sustainable European societies.

RESEO’s mission is to support, advocate for, and collaborate with organisations and individuals in Europe to deliver innovative approaches in creative learning through opera, music and dance to the highest artistic standards for the widest possible audience Our mission

RESEO encourages innovation by experimenting new project models, introducing and supporting new artists. RESEO encourages researching new ways of evaluating creative education to improve practice and promote development of the sector. RESEO raises the profile of this work within the cultural sector and to political and cultural stakeholders RESEO offers a platform for the sharing and evaluation of skills and practice across opera, music and dance education in order to enhance the quality of arts education RESEO enables exchange of artistic and creative learning, process, practice, performance, products and projects for opera, music and dance professionals of the highest quality. Who are our members? The diversity of our members is our greatest strength ! In 2015, RESEO counts 98 members spread across 25 countries: 58 large and medium scale opera institutions 13 small specialised organisations 4 festivals 4 houses of music 2 universities 2 training organisations 14 individual members

You wish to become a RESEO member. How much does it cost? 1350 Euros  Companies with a fixed venue Euros  Companies without a fixed venue. 550 Euros  Companies with less than 3 employees. 280 Euros  Individual members. Membership rates are for a calendar year. Our membership fees

July 2016 European Symposium: Culture and Education - Aix-en-Provence, FR Annual European Symposium since 2009, with each edition looking at a different key topic November 2016 RESEO Autumn Conference: Evaluation – Paris, FR Opera national de Paris is welcoming RESEO Autumn Conference 2016 to celebrate the 20 th anniversary of our network.
