Encounters Ja’Quadry Limbrick Purple Sage Elementary April 2014

Pasadena Public Library The first field trip we took was to the Pasadena Public Library. We read books and worked on our research.

Pyramid How I made my pyramid? I used a square base to support my pyramid and extra straws it held 150 pennies!

Cube How I made my cube? I used 20 straws paper clips and books my cube held 2 books.

Columns How I made my columns? I used paper towel rolls and salt my columns held over 70 large books!

Columns How I made my column? I used 2 sheets of card stalk, colored them, folded one, and glued them together.

Bridge How I made my bridge? I used 4 books and 3 pieces of paper so my bridge could hold 70 pennies.

Ginger bread House How I built my house? We built a ginger bread house from candy.

Downtown Tour We went downtown on a walking tour for a field trip.

Play We went to watch “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!” It was at Main Street Theater for a field trip.

Skyscraper newspaper We made a skyscraper out of newspaper and tape.

Eifel Tower How I made my tower? We made an Eifel Tower out of popsicle sticks.

Dome How I made my dome? We made a dome from toothpicks and gumdrops
