Purpose of the Evening Emphasise that students will be completing a GCSE course in science this academic year Summarise the benefits of this opportunity for all students Outline the structure of the course, how it is assessed and academy expectations Outline resources available to support

Core Science GCSE One full GCSE course. This is separate to Year 11(additional). Two GCSE’s obtained by the end of year 11 of equal weighting. They can be different grades. No other GCSE courses for the majority of students
