 Please understand element and principle of photography clearly.  You can browse on google image each of the principle and try to understand it visually as much as you can.

 Please Register on any apps that you want me to evaluate. If you already have one, please make second account for this class. I don’t want your old account. I want specifically for this class.  VSCO Cam,Instagram,eyeEm,flickr  Make sure your apps is set to public view. So I will search your page according to the link that will giving to me.

 I had discussed about several element and principle of photography. So at this stage, you can choose any elements that you want to portray.  Please make sure that you upload 10 images for this assignment. Maybe you can chose five elements and each of the element you provide two picture in your page/apps.

After uploading your assignment, I need to know your page. For that, please make your own form and submit hard copy for my references. Using Microsoft Word, please fill it with your personal detail including your profile picture, name, matrix no, phone number, faculty, program, and the most important is your apps link

 Please make a meaningful photograph in your artistic point of view. Please look into unique and esthetic part of your subject. Make it extra ordinary.  You can use any kind of camera including camera phone  Each of the element that you shoot you must put a caption and mention what is the element that you try to portray  You can put your watermark if you want to do so.

 You can also make it black and white and using any filter that provided by the apps. But don’t over do, retouching it in minimal way and just nice.  You can pick any subject and I don’t care. But please “surprised me”.

 Doctored your picture to much. You might be a doctor wannabe, but don’t doctored your picture for this assignment. (Doctored means edit)  Take images on the internet and claim that the image is yours. This is the great crime, if you get caught you die. Plagiarism is serious crime in academic. Don’t you ever try to do that. (Die means, I don’t have intention to kill you, but you will be fail and I will send a letter to the authority to make you disqualify from this class)

 Safety issue is crucial. Don’t make your self injured because of 30 marks  Don’t use and send old picture. Set and fix your camera date from now on.

 Try to learn and record your great photograph. Don’t do this as an assignment. You will go insane and stressful. Do it as your hobby and put your heart in it.  Rejected is normal. I will reject any work that not up to the standard and you must do it again.  Focus your target to get A.

 My rubric is so simple. I will give marks based on overall picture.  1- Understanding of the elements = 10 marks  2- Beauty/Artistic/Esthetic of the photographs = 10 marks  3- Creativity and student’s understanding on the usage of apps and photography gear. = 10 marks

 Make sure you upload your picture publically before or on : 11 October 2015 and Submit your Detail on 13 October 2015

 Our class will start every 11 am.  Time management of this class  – Lecture  12pm to 1pm – Do your assignment, add your portfolio on your apps, repair your portfolio, go to library or you can see me personally in my office for critic session or anything regarding this class.
