Trans-Siberian Railway By: Layne Taylor, Adrienne Hill, Sydney Roberts Come with us on the Trans- Siberian Railway

We got on the train in Moscow. The people on the train told us that it was the longest continuous railroad on the earth. It is six thousand miles long.

Our first stop was in Novosibirsk which is in Siberia. We spent the night there It is the largest city in Siberia, it has 1.6 million people. Where we stopped at a Russian art gallery.

Outside it is freezing and dry. The average temperature in Siberia is 34 degrees in ferinheight. Russia has many taigas. A taiga is an evergreen forest in subarctic climates.

Our next stop was at Ulan Ude. Where we saw a huge sculpture of Lenin’s head. It is in the Guinness worlds records book for the biggest statue of Lenin. Ulan Ude is the third largest city in eastern Siberia. It has subarctic climate zones.
