(Please mention the outputs that are verifiable) Improved targeted families economic and food security enhancement through ½ acre Annapoorna crop model Activities under taken Farmers identification with land particulars Preparation of land and marking Trenches around the bunds 1.5 x 1 ft width & depth Raised beds with 7ft width (East-West direction) Furrows between the soil beds with 2x1 ft width & depth 6-8 varieties of short term, medium and long term gestation periods fruit plants with different canopy and multi tiers. ¼ th acre for all types of vegetables like tubers, leafy vegetables and fruit varieties on different beds to get food and nutrition security besides generating additional income and the remaining ¼ acre land is for food grains like cereals, pulses, oil seeds, etc. Border and trap crops for pest and disease management Soil fertility management through crop rotation, weed recycling, promoting leguminous crops At least 75% of the households report increased income of at least Rs per annum in rain fed areas in two seasons. As a result of furrows, plants are able to withstand during summer without water.
