…Thy Kingdom Come…Thy Kingdom Come What did Jesus have in mind? Why part of daily prayer? What is the Kingdom of God? How can YOU be part of it ?

Mark 1:14-15 Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel."

It is NOT Just Heaven John 3:12-14 “no one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven” Luke 12:2—“Your Kingdom come” [God’s Kingdom is coming to earth!]

Is it in Heaven? Kingdom of Heaven = Kingdom of GodKingdom of God - presently in heaven But is coming to earth – in person of Jesus Christ

Is it the Church? 2 Cor. 5:20 we are ambassadors for Christ Church a type of KingdomBut not the fulfillment

Is it “in your heart”? Luke 17:20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!‘ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you."

Is it “in your heart”? Greek entos = “within” -- “in your midst.” Luke 17:21 {NLT} “…is already among you." {ESV} ”…is in the midst of you." Was NOT in PhariseesJesus – King of Kings – in their midst

Millennial rule of Jesus Christ Rev 20:4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge… They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection …they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
