Focus of the journal… Broad substantive focus is ‘Social Policy’ Subject rather than a discipline – inherently inter- disciplinary Encompasses a broad range of topics concerned with socio-legal studies, welfare or social services Education, health, housing, employment, environment, crime Structural causes of problems or changes in these areas (such as inequality, gender, poverty, sexuality etc. ‘Methods in Practice’ articles have a broader scope - focus on methodologies in the social sciences

How to get involved with YPR… Become a reviewer! We are developing a bank of reviewers from a range of social science disciplines and interests Receive 1-2 papers per year on your specialism Plus guidance & support on our reviewing process from the Editorial Board To apply send a CV and an outline of your research interest’s to Publish something! Special editions!
