To provide resource managers and Alliance partners to a Gulf-wide data and ecosystem support services system Acquire new data, fill data gaps Promote collaboration, coordination and standardization for data acquisition Encourage the use of the Gulf-wide system to provide access to physical, chemical and environmental data GOMA EIA Action Item 2: Data Access and Acquisition

Completed in FY 11… Over 30 partners from federal and state agencies, NGO’s and academia 95 map plates in 31 different subject areas Each plate is –Accompanied by description of the subject matter- accessible to non-scientists –All plates have download links to ancillary reports, scientific papers, GIS files and raw data –Links to metadata, WMS
