Mrs. Ellis English 10 and 12

 You will include the following:  Nickname  Quotation that character chose that shows something about him and what is important to him/her  Favorite music/hobbies (must be consistent with setting)  Class superlatives—For example voted "most likely to " by his/her class  Character's plan after high school  You will then find or draw a picture of your conception of the character (magazines offer help and so do computer clip art programs). Mount the picture on poster board with the information underneath. Pictures of the project will then be uploaded onto the class wiki and presented to the class.

You will write a self- styled "Cliff Notes" or “Spark Notes” for one chapter of your novel. You will write a chapter summary, discussion questions, and character analysis. They will be typed and placed in a colorful cover in yellow and black ala the real Cliffs or blue and yellow like a Spark Notes cover.  Pictures taken of your project will then be uploaded to the wiki.

You will write a eulogy for a character who dies in the novel or a character who has died before the novel "began." This obituary should be realistic, so use real obituaries and eulogies as a guide as to what information to use. Once you have written your eulogy, you will upload it onto a podcast, complete with a mournful, solemn tone fitting for the occasion. It will then be presented to the class.

After you project is complete, you and your partner will present your product to the class.

 Product -- Information from the novel is accurate and interesting- 50 points Neatness 25 points  Oral presentation— 25 points  Podcast/Wiki Pics— 25 points  Group participation— 10 points  Total of 135 points!!!!!!!
