Character Traits Samuel I think Samuel is courageous because he didn’t have to go to America and face the challenges but he did. I also think he is smart because he learned how to speak the Indian language really fast. Captain Smith I think Captain Smith is brave because he still traded with the Indians when they were at war with them. Reverend Hunt I think he is also brave because when he was about to die he told Samuel not to pray for him to stay alive because he said god thought it was his time to die.
