High School League Requires: For first time 9 th graders-- you must have passed the 8 th grade academically (not through social promotion) 10 th -12 th grades- An overall passing average AND earn 5 credits from the previous year Division I Requires: 16 core courses 4 years of English 3 years of Math (Alg 1 and higher) 2 years of natural/physical science (1 year of lab if offered by high school) 1 additional unit of English, Math, or Science 2 years of Social Studies 4 years of additional courses (from the areas above or foreign language) Same for Division II in 2013
